At HUM, we live by the principles of curiosity, collaboration, diversity, impact, and positivity.
Recently, our team came together to celebrate these values and bring them to life through team activities, shared meals, and a wellness class or two. We also celebrated our HUM community (yes, you!) and had the pleasure of hearing from a group of our customers, which made our HUM Together day even more special.
The day began with breakfast by the beach at the Annenberg Community Beach House, where our team gathered over healthy bites, coffee, tea, and morning conversation. After a quick welcome, we dove into a breathwork class—an opportunity to ground ourselves in the present and give back to our minds and bodies through focused breathing. It was just what we needed.
Among the many highlights of the day, one stood out in particular: our group activity. We split into teams and were challenged to create a campaign using an AI video tool. Let’s just say the video presentations had us howling with laughter!
In the afternoon, we took time to explore our company’s core values—something that’s deeply important to each of us and essential to keep practicing. Through collaborative exercises, we tackled challenges as a team and developed solutions rooted in respect, teamwork, and kindness.
We ended the day with a bit of wellness and self-care, soaking in healing frequencies during an afternoon sound bath—right after indulging in some delicious sweets, nuts, and cheese.
We HUMmed together, bonded, and celebrated our hard work, all while reminding ourselves of the power of connection. Because at the end of the day, that’s what it’s all about.
